Spring has arrived, and it’s time for smoothies!

THE JOHNNY ALMOND FRUIT SMOOTHIE
This is one of my favorite smoothies, and I bet a dime to a doughnut that it’ll be one of yours too. To make a Johnny Almond Fruit Smoothie, procure the following ingredients…
1 cup orange juice
1 cup frozen peaches
1 frozen banana, chunked
2 Tbs slivered toasted almonds
Add juice to electric blender, then add remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth.
To toast almonds, spread in an ungreased baking pan. Place in 350F degree oven for 5 to 10 minutes or until almonds are light brown; stir once or twice to ensure even browning. Note that almonds will continue to brown slightly after removing from oven.
You’re going to have a little taste of heaven when you start sipping on this healthy and energy packed smoothie!
