How to Slow Down

If you’re at all like me, your days are often so hectic and busy that by quitting time you’re moving like a jack rabbit with his tail on fire.

Well, today I want to share a ridiculously simple tip you can use to slow way down, practically to a snail’s pace in a matter of seconds.

Here’s the tip:


Seriously, when you’re zipping along like greased lightning and realize you have to slow down before you crash, open your mouth and take a great big old yawn.

Wow! That mouth movement almost stopped you in your tracks, didn’t it?

Besides slowing you down, yawning has other benefits.

According to researcher Patt Lind-Kyle, when you yawn…

… you’re stimulating a neural area of the brain that plays a major role in being more conscious and self-reflective, and that also aids in relaxation, alertness, and maintaining a good memory. Any time you breathe deeply, your brain waves slow down and your muscles get the message to relax.
