Aaah that brings back memories. I was on a working holiday in New Zealand when that song came out. It was the fab 60′s and we all could feel like that My most fav song still……
I remember when this song came out in 1967, when I was nine, almost ten. I LOVED it, loved the lightheartedness of both the words and the music. And I loved the imagery it made in my heart and head too. As a shy, sensitive, artistic/musical little girl, it really spoke to me on many levels. It instantly became my favorite song, and stayed that way for years and years. It’s still, and forever will be, in my Top Ten of all time.
Thanks so much for posting this!! I shared it on my Facebook page, for all my other Aging Boomer friends to enjoy.
This is great! Thanks!
