Awesome Apricot Squares

Spring, of course, is always a good time for healthy recipes, so today I’m going to share with you one of my favorites for…

AWESOME APRICOT SQUARES

1 1/2 cups chopped dried apricots
2 cups water
1/4 cup raw honey

1 1/2 cups oat flakes
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup unrefined or cold pressed oil
1/2 cup raw honey

Combine the first three ingredients in a sauce pan. Bring to boil and then simmer uncovered for ten minutes on low heat.

Combine the other ingredients and then press half of that mixture into the bottom of an 8″ x 8″ pan.

Spread the wet apricot mix on top and then sprinkle the rest of the oat mix on top of that.

Bake for twenty to thirty minutes at 350F or until lightly browned.

Remove from oven and cool. When cool, cut into your favorite-sized squares.

This is a terrific recipe, and you just plain can’t beat the taste of apricots!

Hey Chet–I was wondering, do you have an affiliate program for your CDs and other products? Who better than me to help sell your products? I have been folowing you since before you broke away from hacres.com. Rev John

John, hi. Thanks for sticking with me all these years. I don’t have an affiliate program at the moment, but I’m always thinking about starting one.

At this point in my life, however, I’m kind of winding things down and simplifying… and until I figure out exactly how I want to make a living during my golden years, the affiliate program will stay on a back burner.

When/if I get to the point where I’m only selling CDs and digital versions of my books from one website, then, yes, I probably will try an affiliate program.

Until then, because I’m still juggling multiple websites on multiple topics, we’re stuck I fear with the current mess.

I appreciate very much your interest in helping me get my products to more people. Thank you for that.

      Chet
